Refund policy

We want you to live with your Berenford eyewear for years. If a pair is not right, here is how returns work.
Returns window: you may return unworn eyewear within 30 days of delivery, unused, undamaged and with all original packaging and accessories (handmade box, vintage case, Zeiss cloth, brass screwdriver and kit).
Return shipping: arranged and paid by the customer; we recommend a tracked, insured service. The original (complimentary) outbound shipping is not refunded.
Refunds: once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you and, if approved, refund your original payment method within 14 days. Your bank may take additional time to post the credit.
Faulty or damaged items: every pair carries a 2-year guarantee against manufacturing defects. If your eyewear arrives damaged or develops a fault, contact us and we will repair or replace it at no cost.
Non-returnable: for hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on eyewear that shows clear signs of wear. This does not affect your statutory rights.
