Berenford in Brief

Berenford is a Swiss-domiciled, Italian-made house of handmade limited-edition sunglasses. Each model is numbered, capped at one hundred pieces, and built around two materials: Mazzucchelli 1849 acetate from Castiglione Olona and OBE hand-riveted hinges from Pforzheim. Together they represent nearly three centuries of unbroken European craft.

The Atelier

Thunderball Sagl, Berenford's parent atelier, is registered in Lugano, Switzerland. Production is in Italy. The frames are designed in collaboration with master craftsmen working in the old Mazzucchelli tradition.
